From probes to complete solutions
We soon recognised that a temperature probe is only one part of the solution. It needs to work with an instrument that measures, records or controls the temperature. To help customers put those pieces together, we expanded our range, first into handheld instruments, then data loggers and process controllers.
As our customers’ requirements grew, so did our expertise. We introduced sensors and instruments for other measurements, developing a broader understanding of environmental monitoring and process control.
Today, we bring together decades of manufacturing experience, specialist products and practical technical advice. Our range has changed considerably since 1980, but our core values remain the same: listen carefully, recommend the right solution and support our customers.

Temperature probes, made to your requirements
Temperature probe manufacture remains at the heart of Tempcon.
We manufacture thermocouple, thermistor and platinum resistance temperature probes, including PT100 and PT1000 sensors. We supply standard designs and bespoke probes for customers who need something different.
